The packaging is simple but thin a sleek so will fit perfectly in your handbag. They claim to leave a 'sheer luminescent colour' to the lips.
They come in a tube and look like a normal lip balm. They apply easily and have a minty scent to them which is very pleasant, they do give a little tingle to the lips when applied but this doesn't last long. The colours I have are 'Rhubarb' which is a pink toned red, very much on the berry side and 'Watermelon' which is a pink with a slight purple tone to it. Out of the two Watermelon has more of a shimmer to it.

I really like both shades, as you can see they have a nice colour payoff, they also last very well and are as moisturising as a good lip balm. I actually like wearing Watermelon under a matte lipstick which could be a little drying on it's own and it looks very nice.
I would really recommend these if you're looking for a good tinted lip balm because these are definitely some of the best i've tried, especially the shade Rhubarb which is probably my favourite.
Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers are available here and retial for £5.99.
I have one of these lip shimmers in a pale, pinkish colour and I really like it! I've been meaning to try more.
